Mark Rubio

If you played softball in Austin, Texas or at the Advertising Softball World Series you knew Rubio (first name Mark for those who didn’t have the pleasure).

Rubio was the consummate competitor - one of the best pitchers around who would also scoot back and handle 2nd base duties after sending a pitch on a 12-foot arc (15-feet at the ASWS). He could hit to any part of the field whenever he wanted. Everyone wanted Rubio on their team. And while he was competitive, he respected his opponents and always welcomed them to the bar after the game.

Outside of softball Mark was a talented photographer, a championship-level cornhole player and a loving family man. Unfortunately Mark was taken down by cancer leaving behind his beautiful wife Theresa and his wonderful son Ethan.

We all miss you Mark…. RUBIO STRONG!
